In the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her as Jasira Maoun and was a Lebanese American teenager who is forced to confront a variety of personal problems in connection with the U.S. invaders in Iraq. The film was picked by Variety to be one of their 10 actors they wanted to see. She was in 2009 when she portrayed the powerful Taslima in Crossing Over.
